About Patrick Ashley
Patrick has been playing guitar for over 50 years, with a deep foundation in classic rock and a musical curiosity that stretches into jazz, country, and beyond. After producing his first album, Running For The Lee, in the early '90s, life and career took him in other directions. But following his retirement decades later, he returned to his passion for composing and recording. He released Unheard Of in 2022, a compelling mix of old musical ideas and brand new material. And he also remastered and released his first album, Running For The Lee, in 2023.
His latest release, Worldview (June 2025), is a collection of rock guitar instrumentals that showcases both original compositions and imaginative arrangements of classic tracks. Covers include songs from The Allman Brothers Band, Santana, The Doobie Brothers and more. Each piece is meticulously crafted, reflecting Patrick’s evolving skill in modern digital production and his commitment to capturing emotional depth through melody and tone. As with all his work, every track has been composed, arranged, performed, and produced entirely by him. You can listen to Patrick's tracks by going to the Music page.
Patrick performs live by playing the lead guitar parts over his own remixed backing tracks, creating a rich and polished sound that fits beautifully in any venue where thoughtful, expressive music can elevate the atmosphere. You can view portions of Patrick's live shows by visiting the Videos page. To book Patrick, submit our Contact form or email him at patrickashleymusic@gmail.com.
